Oral and maxillofacial surgeons are trained to manage and treat facial injuries. Our surgeons are qualified in emergency care, acute treatment and long term reconstruction and rehabilitation. They are on staff at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor and Saline, and Emma Bixby Medical Center in Adrian. The surgeons provide in-patient care as well as emergency room coverage.
Treatment may include:
- Facial lacerations
- Intra-oral lacerations
- Avulsed or displaced teeth
- Fractures of facial bones
- Fractures of upper and lower jaws
